this.So Sept 2022 my husband calls me from work after 21 years to tell me he’s not coming home and for me to tell the kids,we have two older daughters who were 16 and 19 at the time and a then 7 year old and 13 year old.He’d been acting different for a while and had threatened to leave back in the Feb that year but we agreed to try and work things out.He works away long trips at sea and had been away 5 weeks before he told me.
Good luck to his new girlfriend cos that’s BS about her being fine with that stuff he’s lying through his teeth and he’ll do the same to her. It sounds like he's going through a mid life crisis, and I bet his girlfriend doesn't see him as a serious life partner. If she does, shell always look over shoulder wondering if he's cheating on her.
