Two people have been confirmed dead in Scotland as Storm Babet hit, with officials saying the Angus region is in a 'very serious emergency'.
Two people have died and hundreds have been forced to evacuate, as Storm Babet batters Scotland with gale-force winds and severe flooding - with it set to sweep through England next.
Police also confirmed a tree had fallen onto a van and killed a 56-year-old man near Forfar, Angus, on Thursday around 5pm.
