The comments come as the BBC One dance contest's Halloween special is just around the corner
Strictly Come Dancing Come Dancing's Halloween special is just around the corner following another epic weekend in the ballroom. Eleven of the 12 remaining couples competed in week five of the BBC One dance contest on Saturday night with Amanda Abbington and Giovanni Pernice's absence noted.
But as the saying goes, the show must go on and this weekend, the remaining 10 couples will return to the ballroom for a string of spooktacular routines. However, there is one couple who are said to be 'cutting it fine' in terms of their time in the competition while it has been predicted another 'won't be semi-finalists'.
He said: "They have a lot of potential to go far, but they really need to pull through next week. I think there will be a lot of eyes on them for next week, considering it isn't the first time they've been in the dance-off. They do have such a strong connection between them - with reciprocal liking and very strong eye contact - so it's all there in terms of them succeeding in the competition.
