Some viewers called for it to stop
Over the years, the Strictly Come Dancing audience have played a role in the show's success, as friends and family members are among those in the ballroom studio to watch the performances and cheer on their loved ones.
Some Strictly Come Dancing fans are now calling for a clapping ban, as Birmingham Live reports, after saying it ruined Molly Rainford's Dance on Saturday night. The CBBC star was dancing the Tango to ‘Bad Guy’ by Billie Eilish with her professional partner Carlos Gu. And head judge Shirley praised the star for her passion and commitment. But many said the performance was spoilt by the audience clapping along. Viewers took to Twitter to comment.
