StrictlyComeDancing stars AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington were in tears
Strictly Come Dancing fans were left emotional as AJ Odudu and Kai Widdrington broke down in tears after the pair were forced to pull out of the BBC competition just one day before the final.
Speaking to Rylan, AJ, who looked stunning in a vibrant yellow satin dress, said: "We are gutted as we were ready to smash it and this isn't the way that we wanted to go out, obviously, but even just looking back at all of those moments it has just been an absolute pleasure dancing with you every single week."
"Weirdly we had two very energetic dances that we were given the Charleston and the Jive and we were like if we can change them maybe we can do something but the injury is just too bad and at the end of the day AJ's health is number one concern." Reflecting on the comment, AJ said: "I don't think he [Craig] realised the depth of what he was saying to me. Dance lessons are just something that my parents couldn't afford to let me do. They always said I would be able to do it one day and its happening."
"Watching Strictly it takes two. Welling up over poor AJ and Kai. LOVE them and wanted them to win. ," another fan said.
