Strictly 'plan to cast celebrity couple in 2023 series with two stars already in running'
Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly looking to cast a celebrity couple for the 2023 edition of the show, with Emma and Matt Willis said to be the most likely choice.
And now it has been reported that bosses are on the lookout for a celebrity couple to join the show's 2023 lineup. A source told The Sun: "Strictly are desperate to get a celebrity couple on the show and Emma and Matt were in negotiations for the last series. It was virtually a done deal but then Matt was cast in the theatre show 2:22 A Ghost Story and they had to back out.
"Bosses on the show are always looking at ways to keep the format fresh and they loved the idea of having a celebrity couple competing against one another."
