Giovanni Pernice has postponed the launch of his new business after dancing partner Amanda Abbington confirmed she would not return to Strictly Come Dancing
Amanda Abbington's departure from Strictly Come Dancing came as a shock to many, including her dancing partner Giovanni Pernice.
But after Amanda pulled out of the competition, Giovanni has now made the decision to postpone his brand launch, according to Mail Online. She wrote: "It is with deepest regret that I had to leave Strictly. I did not come to this decision easily or lightly but for personal reasons I am unable to continue. It was an absolute joy working with my fellow contestants, they are a beautiful, hardworking and talented group of people who I love and who I will miss seeing every Friday and Saturday and competing alongside.
During the competition so far, Amanda and Giovanni have impressed the judges and audience with their routines, so news of Amanda's apparent departure will no doubt come as a blow to fans.
