Ex-World’s Strongest Man Mariusz Pudzianowski was beaten by Mamed Khalidov on the biggest night in KSW history.promotion’s history and met in Gliwice on Saturday night.It was a comfortable victory for Khalidov , who made Pudzianowski tap from strikes within two minutes of the fight.
Speaking to the crowd afterwards, Khalidov said: “Thank you very much for this. You are my family. I love you. “I want to thank this champion, Mariusz – the man. It was my better day. Thank you very much for being with me.”Prior to his MMA debut in 2009, Pudzianowski was crowned the World’s Strongest Man in 2002, 2003, 2005, 2007, and 2008 while taking silver in 2006 and 2009.
Coming into KSW 77 on Saturday, the 45-year-old was on a five-fight win streak and hadn’t lost since March 2019. He has never won a title, but is still one of the promotion’s biggest stars, who gets people in the door.
