Leeds United will be looking to record their first league victory of the season at the fourth attempt but face a tough test at league leaders Ipswich Town on Saturday
Pascal Struijk is confident Leeds United are heading in the 'right direction' despite failing to win any of their first three Championship fixtures. Daniel Farke's side were named among the pre-season favourites to secure promotion, but have so far made a slow start to the season.
Farke's side did overcome Shrewsbury Town in the Carabao Cup first round, but promotion is undoubtedly the priority with the club currently seven points adrift of the top two. However, Struijk insists there were a 'lot of positives' to take from the performance against the Baggies ahead of Saturday's trip to face leaders Ipswich Town.
Ipswich alongside recently relegated Leicester City have made a perfect start to their league campaign, earning victories against QPR, Stoke City and Sunderland. Kieran McKenna's team also dispatched Bristol Rovers in the Carabao Cup, and Struijk accepts the visitors will face a tough challenge at Portman Road.
“I think it will be a very tough game, we just have to try and do our stuff, break them down, take the three points and hopefully get a clean sheet from there.”
