Kyle moved away after the break-up of his family when he was 16
A Northamptonshire student is now a town councillor in Wales while living with autism. Kyle Eldridge, 25, originally from Rushden, has described how his diagnosis "destroyed and repaired" his life.

Kyle, who is Abergavenny’s Town Council's youngest representative, felt before his diagnosis "he never felt understood" growing up.
"I always felt quite restricted as a child, not having the ability to flourish, because of the environments my parents were in, such as being around alcohol and drugs, that either their friends or my dad consumed on a daily basis.”
