Downing Street sources said on Monday morning that Tory Prime Minister Rishi Sunak "asked Suella Braverman to leave Government and she has accepted”.
The Conservative Party said that Sunak is conducting a wider ministerial reshuffle as he “strengthens his team in Government to deliver long-term decisions for a brighter future.” It comes after Braverman wrote an article in The Times last week which had not fully been signed off by Sunak.This is a breaking news story - more to follow.
