Sophie Yeomans, Met Office forecaster, said: “Through the day we’ll see the sunshine start to come out."But she added that showers will start sweeping in from the west.
Ms Yeomans added: “It’s only in western areas that we’ll see blustery showers starting to push through, and it will feel cold in the showers with highs of only 10C or 11C.”Forecasters at Meteogroup UK said: "Early rain on Monday across northeast England and eastern Scotland will soon clear into the North Sea.
