Southbank Centre and Apple announce first artists for pioneering talent development programme in London, Manchester and Birmingham
The programme, which is free to participate in, aims to support emerging Black and Black Mixed heritage creatives across London, Manchester and Birmingham, helping to dismantle the systemic barriers that Black creatives face within the arts and creative industries. REFRAME: The Residency is led by an esteemed group of established artists, including writer and director Riley Bramley-Dymond, photographer and director Holly-Marie Cato, production and performance group dubmorphology, writer, director and photographer Caleb Femi, music producer, artist and radio host Joshua Inyang, singer, performer, composer, producer and audio engineer Nicole Justice, filmmaker Tayyib Mahmood, photographer Denise Maxwell and photographer Tanya Weekes.
This groundbreaking programme is part of Apple’s global Racial Equity and Justice Initiative and represents their first REJI expansion into Europe.
