Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid has offered insight into her 'difficult' childbirth experience, revealing she had wanted a natural birth but 'it didn't work out'
Susanna Reid has opened up about her “difficult” birth experience following a past emergency caesarean.
The GMB veteran said: “Partly this seems to be between, and I don’t want to oversimplify and I probably am going to, between midwives who want women to do as much as they can to have as natural and normal a birth as possible, and often they’re up against consultants, who perhaps want more surgical procedures.
She then added: “Often, pregnant women are caught in the middle.” The revelation comes after Susanna confirmed on Monday’s show she’d finally taken steps to booking a mammogram appointment, following Sarah Ferguson's breast cancer diagnosis .
