Officers approached Makai Clue to speak to him but he fled the scene while chucking away a number of items including £200 in cash and a mobile phone.
A suspicious drug dealer found hiding in bushes by eagle-eyed cops has been jailed. Makai Clue was sentenced to two years behind bars when he appeared at Chester Crown Court last week.
Officers had received intelligence of a new county lines drugs gang operating in the area sparking additional patrols in the town centre. While searching Clue, officers discovered approximately £200 cash and a mobile phone which contained a number of messages advertising the sale of illegal drugs.
