WHO warns the Taliban face a new enemy in Afghanistan as fears of a Covid spike rise

There is also a growing concern over the Talibans' stance on vaccines, which is particularly worrying as only more than 1.2 million jabs have been administered as of August 20.According to the latest WHO data, there have been more than 152,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Afghanistan, and more than 7,000 deaths.
