Teenage girl dead and four injured in horror crash as man arrested
A red Ford Fiesta crashed at the Old Gate Inn roundabout near Canterbury, Kent in the early hours of Saturday morning.A young woman has died following a fatal crash near Canterbury which injured four others on Saturday morningThe South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue also attended where they pronounced the 18-year-old woman dead at the scene.A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
Police are appealing to anyone that saw what happened, or has dashcam or CCTV, to come forward to help with their investigation.Police said: "Officers from Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing to anyone who saw what happened, or has relevant dashcam or CCTV footage, to come forward."
