Cops believe a man entered the property through an unlocked door before attacking the teen
The 19-year-old was rushed to the Royal Alexandria Hospital in Paisley following reports of an assault at a home in the Hood Court area of Helensburgh on Wednesday, July 5, at around 1am.Cops are hunting for a male suspect who has been described as being around 6ft in height, of heavy build, with a short scruffy brown beard.
He was last seen wearing an orange high-vis type jacket with a reflective line worn with the hood up. Top news stories today DC Adam McCreery said: “Understandably, this attack has left the victim very shaken and I am appealing to anyone with information that could assist with our enquiries to get in touch.
"We are particularly interested in anyone who may have CCTV in the area, to check their footage between 11.30pm and 1.30am.”READ NEXT:
