Teen took M6 police chase into Preston where he kept going despite stinger bursting his tyres
A dangerous driver led police on a high speed chase down the M55 before colliding with parked cars in Preston.
Officers from Lancashire Police followed Choudry onto the M55 where he drove at high speeds weaving across the lanes. He overtook and undertook vehicles frequently, Preston Crown Court heard.He left the M55 and turned onto the M6 before exiting the motorway at junction 31 where officers placed a stinger in the road to burst his tyres. But Choudry, from Blackburn, continued driving with flat tyres.
Checks revealed the teenager was banned from driving and did not have a valid insurance policy to drive the vehicle. He pleaded guilty to dangerous driving, driving without a licence and driving without insurance. Judge Stephen Davies said: "The whole incident lasted 19 minutes. It could have led to serious injury or even death. It is lucky for you that that didn't happen. "
