Teenage boy dies and six people taken to hospital after crash

Lewis Campbell, 15, died at the scene after police were called to Boig Road near New Cumnock on Tuesday.

Lewis Campbell, 15, from Cumnock, was a passenger in one of the cars. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

One woman and five teenagers were taken to the University Hospital Crosshouse in Kilmarnock after the collision.
