Police, ambulance crews, air ambulance and fire rescue services attended the scene.

The motorcyclist, who is in his teens, has sustained injuries which are currently not deemed to be life threatening or life changing and was taken to hospital by road.The road reopened at 4.30pm. Despite the road reopening, Google Maps has shown there are still delays in the area.At the time of publishing there were not any arrests.

An East of England Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “An ambulance and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance were sent to the scene. “The motorcyclist, who had not sustained serious injuries, was transported by road to Watford General Hospital for further assessment and treatment.”The spokesperson added: “One fire engine from Watford fire station was sent to the scene, where firefighters made the scene safe and provided casualty care for one person until the ambulance service arrived at the scene.”
