A teenager has been arrested following an attempted hijacking
At around 9.55pm on Saturday, February 18, police received a report that the driver of a black Volkswagen Bora had been flagged down by a man on Lower Bennett Street.
Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have dashcam footage of teh area at the time to contact them. “A 16-year-old male has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted hijacking. He remains in custody at this time.
