🔴 Teenager Paris Mayo found guilty of murdering newborn son to hide her pregnancy
A teenage mother has been found guilty of murdering her newborn son after giving birth alone and unaided in her parents’ living room.
Mayo was 15 when she gave birth without help in the family home in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, on 23 March, 2019. She was found to have assaulted the newborn, stuffing cotton wool balls down his throat before putting his body in a bin bag and leaving it on the front doorstep before going to bed. When asked why Stanley had balls of cotton wool in his mouth, Mayo had told the court there was “stuff coming out of his mouth” and she was trying to clean it up.
