Leighton Jack Skelton died months before he was due to start at university
A much loved teenager who had a promising future and was due to start university died when he came off the road and crashed into a tree.
READ MORE: Young motorcyclist died in South Lakes van crash after having just a few hours of basic road training An investigation into the cause of the crash determined that the road and weather conditions were fine but there appeared to be little indication of braking or steering before the collision. There was no evidence of drink or drugs that could have affected Leighton's driving.
