A Shropshire MP accused of bullying by the former chair of her local Conservative association says she “refutes the allegations in full”.
, submitted a formal complaint to the party about Telford MP Lucy Allan.
She added that Ms Allan had called other officers of the local party on the telephone to discuss her being replaced as chair. The Shropshire Star has seen confirmation from the Conservative Party that there are no investigations into any complaints regarding Mrs Wood. Responding to the claims a spokesman for Ms Allan MP said: “Ms Wood took on the position of Chair of the Telford Conservative Association on June 24, 2022.
