A study published in BMCPublicHealth finds that in Brazil, from 2011 and 2021, the coverage of polio vaccines decreased by 29.9%, particularly in the North and Northeast regions of the country.

For the descriptive analysis, the annual coverage of polio vaccine, in children under one year of age, according to geographic region and year , were evaluated.
