, officially attributed to hypothermia, has never been fully explained and the tragedy has spawned endless rumours and speculation. In the gripping and upsettingGaia was a naturally charismatic young woman who inspired fierce loyalty from friends and family in the tightly-knit coastal town of Swanage. This portrait of Gaia as a young woman full of life made what happened next hard to sit through. She disappeared after calling at her aunt’s house one evening.

The police’s case appeared to have been built entirely on the fact that Gaia had visited Nathan before her disappearance. The following week, her body was found on Dancing Ledge.
