Spain and Italy are on the list
The new authorisation, called ETIAS, will come into effect in 2024 and will be needed for entry into 30 countries.
With the travel pass linked to your passport, UK nationals will be permitted to travel in the ETIAs countries for up to 90 days within a 180 day period, reports the Daily Record. How do you apply for an ETIAS? Applications will be available online on the official ETIAS website and through a mobile app when the pass comes into effect. The fee will cost €7 .
