While there are no shortage of cleaning products available, most are single use and can be costly. The shower is a tough spot as hard water, or water that has a high mineral content can cause limescale to build up on your shower.
Social media is a haven for cleaning advice and using a lemon to clean your shower is the latest to impress enthusiasts. In a video shared to TikTok by profile @cleaninghackss3, the fruit is simply cut in half and used to wipe down the shower screen. One comment read: "Wow end result is amazing", while another said: "That’s amazing and super satisfying to watch." The good news is that the entire shower can be cleaned with the one fruit, which costs 30p each from Tesco.
