Worth making a note of this month
Lancashire Road Safety Partnership has revealed the 48 locations of mobile speed cameras for the month of July.
The partnership aims to improve driver behaviour by helping motorists drive at an appropriate and safe speed within designated limits. Speed camera enforcement vehicles operate across Lancashire seven days a week. While the main aim of the cameras is to tackle speeding the equipment is also able to detect other offences including illegal registration plate spacing, not wearing a seatbelt and driving not in control of a vehicle. Speed camera locations this month include roads in Blackpool, Burnley, Preston, Oswaldtwistle and Chorley.
