, the star talked about his thoughts on the new Dragula season and his hopes of returning.
“Oh, yeah, I love it. I love watching my friends go back and be assholes to each other [laughs]. The drama part, obviously, no. But the artistry on Dragula is next level. It’s so unique. It’s something that you don’t really see in many places, other than in live shows. When you go to a live show, you’ll see that kind of art,” he said.
“Like you see in Call Me Mother. You see these budding artists that are coming up, and there’s so much potential. They just need more stage time, and more opportunities to make an extra $20 or $200 or whatever the local fee is when you’re starting out, to build their craft,” he explained.“I think it’s so cool to see the variety of drag that we have across all these platforms. And Dragula will always have my heart. It’s what brought me to this level.
“So I was prepared to take on what would happen. Now, I’m still doing that, but at a different level – like, an elevated level. I would love to come back, and to judge again, and to be part of it.
