Eden, 20, faced Chaser Darragh 'The Menace' Ennis alone - but was able to scoop the huge prize after an amazing final chase

The Chase viewers have been left stunned after one contestant took home a record breaking £75,000 solo prize. On Thursday night's rerun of The Chase, Bradley Walsh welcomed four new quizzers to the show all in the hope of taking home some money and beating the Chaser.

The young brainboz then came out with 18 correct answers in the final chase, which proved too much for Darragh, who failed to catch him. Eden, from Birmingham, left Bradley jumping for joy and screaming after winning the record-breaking sum of cash. "Congratulations, you have outrun the Chaser," said Bradley. He continued: "Let me tell you - this is the best quiz on TV. Bar none. Because this just does not happen on any other show. Come and have a go - if you think you are young, or you are clever, enough!"

Bradley said: "75 grand! 20 years of age! What a show. What are you going to do with the money now?" Eden said: "Just look at it in my bank account." Darragh added: "You were really, really good at the table."
