The Crown’s Dominic West reveals what surprised him most about playing Charles

"I think it makes it rather poignant. I think we all had a period of mourning. Shooting in season six was suspended during the period of mourning," West said. The actor added that people now want to watch more of"But also probably for comfort, and to remember, perhaps, the Queen's life in a way that I don't think has ever been depicted as well as it was in seasons one and two, certainly – and three and four. So I think it’s rather poignant.
