A trailer for the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy’s movie has appeared online.
The trailer, which is heavily watermarked, has circulated on social media over the weekend. While efforts have been made to contain the leak, it’s still easily findable on social media.
The game’s original developer Scot Cawthon has commented on the leak, saying he is “really, really disheartened.
Horror studio Blumhouse Productions then took over in 2017, shortly after series’ creator Scott Cawthon stated that the project was “back at square one”. It was then confirmed in 2018 that Chris Columbus was going to direct the film, until Blum stated in 2021 that Columbus was no longer attached to the project.
Finally, in October 2022, it was announced that the film would be directed by Emma Tammi, who most recently directed horror film The Wind.
