The actor best-known for playing him, Robert Englund, joins the cast as ‘disturbed’ psychiatric patient Victor Creel, imprisoned for a gruesome murder.
Meanwhile back in Hawkins, the high school crowd includes Mason Dye’s new character Jason Carver, “a handsome, rich athlete dating the most popular girl in school.” His ‘perfect world’ unravels under a new threat to the town, hinting that he could play a big part in the forthcoming series.Joining him is Joseph Quinn playing Eddie Munson, “an audacious 80’s metalhead who runs The Hellfire Club, Hawkins High’s official D&D club.
We will see Jonathan Byers befriend a new boy called Argyle, played by Eduardo Franco. A ‘fun-loving stoner,’ Argyle proudly delivers delicious pizza pies for Surfer Boy Pizza. It looks like a new job could be on the cards for the eldest Byers boy., Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Caleb McLoughlin and Gaten Matarazzo will also all return for the fourth season. Newcomers Maya Hawke and Priah Ferguson are also likely to be back in the Upside Down.
