Rashford's dismissal was a key turning point in the contest, with United's 2-0 advantage being wiped out a little over 10 minutes after he left the field of play. Copenhagen got one back in the 45th minute through Mohamed Elyounoussi before Diogo Goncalves made it 2-2 from the penalty spot in added time.
