Paul, who is also a Liverpool fan, loved David's cake — while Adele's PB & J-flavoured popcorn cake also went down a treat. That meant it was anyone's guess as to who would win between the two, but it was David who just about edged it.
"I can’t believe it. I mean, I don’t know whether you saw my face when it was announced, I was convinced it was going to be Adele, I thought her cake was so amazing. So, yeah, I won’t gloat about it," David said.added:"David had a really good two days. He’s a really careful baker. Tom and Adele were both close on David’s heels. David didn’t romp ahead and win, he just pipped them to the post.
