It seems wherever you go, you will find a Greggs. But have you ever been out of town and noticed your favourite baked item isn't on sale in that area? This is because there are some "secret" items you can pick up from the bakery chain at different regions across the UK. One item you can't get in Merseyside is the corned beef pasty.Inside this bake is chunks of steak and minced beef with potato, onion, carrots and peas, lightly seasoned and enclosed in a puff pastry case. These items are only available in areas such as Midlands, Yorkshire, Wales, the Northeast and Southwest.
When the ECHO rang some stores in North Wales, one staff member said they aren't sold in that area, so it appears people will have to travel to Mid and South Wales. A Greggs spokesperson said: “Our delicious Corned Beef Bakes are available in selected regions across the UK, including shops in the Midlands, Yorkshire, Wales, the Northeast and Southwest. Our customers in Merseyside can still enjoy freshly prepared Greggs favourites, including its popular Sausage Roll, Steak Bake and tasty vegan alternatives.
