There will be plenty of past and present Man Utd players in action over the upcoming international break.
The international break looks like it could be more of a blessing than a curse for Manchester United this time around.
There will obviously be plenty of attention on the current United stars looking to star for their country this week, though just as intriguing is the prospect of four former players who could hold the key to their nation's hopes. Daniel James was the right player at the wrong time for United when he joined four years ago, a player who could have enjoyed a squad role but was instead well out of his depth as a regular starter.
While former forward James has a role to play in the first team right now, the future of Welsh football could feature three United academy graduates, all of whom could feature today. Poole may not be recognised for his time at United, but he is proof of the club's unrivalled talent production line and evidence that being released by them can be the beginning of a career rather than the end.
Levitt is now at Hibernian after two spells with Dundee United and already has 13 senior international appearances under his belt, while Savage joined Reading in the summer after Wales manager Rob Page urged him to move for the benefit of his international ambitions.
