A number of British airlines have suspended flights to Israel after conflict escalated over the weekend and left thousands of people dead.
On Saturday, October 6, during a major Jewish holiday Hamas militants fired thousands of rockets and sent dozens of fighters into Israeli towns near the Gaza strip in a deadly attack. At least 700 people have reportedly been killed in Israel over two days following the Hamas attack. Passengers will be offered a full refund or a rebooking with another airline. BA said its team continues to monitor the situation closely.Virgin Atlantic Virgin Atlantic is offering customers booked on their Tel Aviv services between Saturday October 7 and Saturday October 28 the flexibility to rebook their flight onto a different travel date or request a full refund.
Ryanair Ryanair have cancelled all flights to and from Tel Aviv between Monday October 9 and Thursday October 12 'due to operational restrictions beyond Ryanair’s control.'
