But now, after 120 episodes since March 2025, the fan favourite is leaving the streaming giant, although UK fans can still catch it onThe Office will also be removed from Netflix in France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, Spain, South Africa, Turkey, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Belgium, and Poland on December 31.
The synopsis reads: ‘A four-star general begrudgingly teams up with an eccentric scientist to get the U.S. military’s newest agency — Space Force — ready for lift-off.’ Not only is it a workplace drama just like The Office, but it was also created by The Office’s Justin Spitzer. The show’s tone – dreary office life – was lifted from The Office and magnified. There’s also the theme of boredom in the every day, and settling for something less than, which The Office fans will recognise in Tim’s character.In case you’ve not already watched Parks and Recreation, it’s sure to be top of your list and even has the unofficial Office seal, as it was co-created by Michael Schur, who played Dwight’s cousin Mose in The Office US.
