The ‘secret’ Netflix menu with thousands of hidden movies and TV series you may not know about
Netflix has so much content these days that it can be tricky to find something that really takes your fancy. If you spend more time scrolling through the seemingly endless amount of content than actually watching it, then there is a cool trick that can reveal thousands of films and TV shows you may not know about, The Mirror reports.
Luckily, you don’t need a degree in computer programming to unlock Netflix’s hidden content, it can be found by simply inputting a short series of numbers. into the platform’s search bar, allowing viewers to access a huge library of content that is buried deep beneath Netflix’s suggestions. The codes correspond to specific genres, including ‘Comic Book and Superhero Movies’, ‘Courtroom Dramas’, and ‘Foreign Horror Movies’. By entering the code based on what genre of film you want to watch, Netflix will display all the films and shows from that genre in one place.To do this, start by entering the following URL into a web browser: http://www.netflix.com/browse/genre/
After you’ve signed in, add one of the codes to the end of the link based on what genre you want to browse. So if you fancy diving into some films based on comic books and superheroes, you will need to use the code 10118.After hitting enter, you will be taken straight to hidden genre that you’ve chosen. This only works on the website version of Netflix, so unfortunately those streaming via their phone or tablet won’t be able to use this cool trick.
