As for wants and fears, this new system sounds like it will enhance storytelling possibilities for Sims and give them some added personality. Sims will have up to three different wants: one long-term, one short-term, and one that's more reactionary . These wants are intended to be driven by the Sims' own traits and desires.
At the same time, Sims may develop fears some depending on their own experiences during gameplay. As an example, a Sim may pick up a fear of fire if they have a negative experience with a fire. It results in the Sim potentially having more trouble being around and putting out fires.But the Sim can also try to confront this fear, and if they successfully put out a fire, they may be able to conquer it.
While this new system will be available for all players, there will be some exclusive individual wants and fears forsexual orientation is being introduced in the same free updateThree new sexual orientation settings in Create-a-Sim mode will determine how each individual Sim will respond to advances from a masculine or feminine Sim, romantically and sexually.
