Charles de Vilmorin focused on volume for his spring/summer 2023 collection for Rochas. The designer crafted looks from “sculptural dimensions” of silk, organza and fine cotton, with cascading ruffles down the body. To make the silhouettes pop, he used a bold palette of fuchsia, bright blue and yellow, as well as gothic black.Picture the most luxurious pair of Bermuda shorts you can imagine.
They might look a little like the pairs seen gliding across the parquet floor at a sun-filled hôtel particulier in Paris this week, where hyper-luxe brand The Row’s spring/summer 2023 collection was revealed to a characteristically exclusive audience. The Olsen sisters paired them with gently oversized blazers, and ostensibly plain but exquisitely crafted leather flip flops.
