Make-up artist Gucci Westman looks after some of Hollywood’s most recognisable faces such as Cameron Diaz, Julianne Moore and Gwyneth Paltrow – and has just created a foundation that’s perfect for women of all ages.
, a liquid foundation that she describes as “a lightweight oil that – when you apply it to your face – becomes more like a cushiony serum”.What’s most remarkable about this foundation is that it’s actually more like skincare that “happens to act like make-up”. “I wanted a phenomenal skincare product – especially for my difficult skin – so I specially developed this formula with our personal chemist.
”Of course, Westman has tips and guidelines for how to apply the product as well. “Heavy coverage when you’re older is sometimes a mistake; you want to be slightly more targeted with your approach. Otherwise, the foundation will settle into any lines you may have.” She recommends using her soon-to-be-launched Liquid Blender Brush for the best results. “You’ll get a faster and more refined application. When you get older, your pores do become larger, even on your chin and on your forehead.
