This Morning star Josie Gibson feels 'used and a bit betrayed' amid rumours she will not be chosen as Phillip Schofield's replacement on the daytime programme, according to national reports. The former Big Brother star became a hit with fans as she stepped in as Holly's partner after Phil left the programme earlier this year.
Holly, Alison Hammond, Dermot O'Leary, Craig Doyle, Josie Gibson and now also Ben have all stepped in to co-host the show. While recent reports suggest senior bosses have been looking for a permanent replacement for Phil. Sources say Ben is a "frontrunner" to officially take over Schofield's job, as he reportedly "impressed" directors years ago when covering for Phil between 2005 and 2011.
Ben is said to be seriously ‘torn’ between Good Morning Britain and This Morning, with Susanna Reid desperate for him to say on GMB. "Ben loves doing both shows, but Susanna Reid really wants him to stay on Good Morning Britain," a source told Metro.co.uk. "Although they are on the same channel, they’re sort of rivals and both need ratings, and Ben is great at bringing in viewers.
