England’s Lionesses have been pictured emerging from their hotels following last night’s historic Euros win – and subsequent celebrations.

Up to 7,000 supporters have gathered at an event hosted by ex-player Alex Scott in Trafalgar Square from 11am today.Huge crowds had already gathered to celebrate by 10.30am Thousands, many draped in England flags and wearing replica shirts, have queued since early this morning to save a spot near the Lionesses’ victory lap.
Ms Turkington said: ‘In terms of the women’s game, it can be huge. Especially in Scotland, where we would love to see an improvement.”
