Police uncovered the drugs after stopping the vehicle
Three huge packages of drugs with a street value of around £1 million were uncovered in a boot of a car in Bolton.
The packages weighed around 10 kilos, police said. Earlier in the day, another 'suspicious' car was spotted by Operation Venture officers parked on Chorley Road.Officers searched those in the car under the misuse of drugs act. Inside the vehicle, they found a number of snap bags of suspected cocaine and around £1,000 in cash.
Chief Inspector Justine Topping, from GMP’s Bolton District, said: "Having additional resources available to deploy through Operation Venture means that we can tackle serious crimes robustly to make Bolton a safer place to live and work. The action last night highlights our endeavour to take illegal supply from our streets.
