THREE more Met cops are reportedly being investigated over another photo of a dead body at a suspected crime scene. One of the officers is suspected of taking and sharing a picture at the scene of …

The cops had been told to protect the crime scene after Ms Henry, 46, and Ms Smallman, 27, were found dead in bushes at Fryent Country Park in Wembley, north-west London. After taking a number of pictures, Lewis superimposed his face on to one of the images and, according to the Independent Office for Police Conduct , used “degrading and sexist language” to describe the women.reports Ms Henry and Ms Smallman were referred to in message exchanges as “two dead birds”.

At a hearing at the Old Bailey yesterday, both officers admitted committing misconduct in a public office between June 7 and June 23 last year. Lewis took two photos while Jaffer took four - before sending them on to a female colleague also at the scene. PC Lewis had also shared photos he had taken at the crime scene with a WhatsApp group of 40-plus police officers called the ‘A Team’.Following their guilty pleas, the Met said it was taking "immediate steps" to put former PC Jaffer - who has now resigned - and PC Lewis before accelerated misconduct hearings.

Cressida Dick also expressed "deep regret" over the "utterly unprofessional, disrespectful and deeply insensitive" behaviour of the officers involved and issued a fresh apology to the victims' family.
