Because it was never released in Japan, the Japanese Switch Online service doesn’t get Kirby’s Avalanche – instead, it gets, a 16-bit remake of Game Boy puzzle game Kirby’s Star Stacker that never made it to the west. Switch Online subscribers with access to the Japanese eShop can download the Super Famicom app and get access to the Japanese library too, including Kirby’s Super Star Stacker.
